From November 26 to 27, 2024, we had the opportunity to take part in
the Recruitment & Recruitment Days of the German Association of Recruitment Service Providers (GVP ) in Hamburg. Under the motto “Your path to success”, the event was dedicated to the future of recruitment and offered us exciting insights into the latest
developments in the industry.
Day 1: Strategic insights and recommendations for action
The theme days kicked off with an official welcome from GVP President Christian Baumann and Jens Issel, Head of Marketing and Member Interaction.
The exclusive GVP study “Barometer
Recruitment 2024″ was presented to us right at the start. Jürgen Grenz from index
Research presented the results of this comprehensive 360-degree analysis and provided valuable recommendations for practical action.
Expert knowledge in four panels: from basics to AI-supported automation
The subsequent panels offered a wealth of
information and practical examples. We found them particularly interesting:
- Basic recruitment panel: Marco Heimrich (I.K. Hofmann)
explained the legal framework for recruitment and showed how we can best implement it. - Panel PV Advanced: Simone Straub, an experienced consultant, gave us valuable tips on how to become even more successful in recruitment.
- Recruiting panel: Volkmar Meyer (Talentschuppen) highlighted the
differences between temporary staffing and recruitment – a decisive factor for us, as we are active in both areas. - Panel Partner Days: The possibilities of automation through artificial intelligence (AI) were vividly presented by Denis Franz (MONA AI).
In the BarCamp format in the afternoon, we were able to contribute our own topics
and exchange ideas with colleagues from the industry. The first day ended with an atmospheric get-together with a view of the Port of Hamburg – a perfect opportunity to make contacts and expand our network.
Day 2: Best practices and innovative approaches
The second day of the event began with a presentation by Sabine
Kluge (Kluge+Konstorten GmbH), who introduced us to strategies for overcoming the
shortage of skilled workers. This was followed by a presentation of best practices
:
- Dr. Max Hermann explained how to build a successful
business model in the recruitment industry. - Gerrit Ricker and Mareen Rohe gave us an insight into the importance of aptitude diagnostics as a success factor.
- Svetoslav Stoyanov from Bullhorn GmbH showed how AI can help us find the best talent.
Clients, candidates and recruiters in dialog
Another highlight was the discussion of the different
perspectives of clients, candidates and recruiters. This round
made it clear to us how important it is to understand the individual needs of all
parties involved in order to ensure successful placements in the long term at
.
The final presentation by Andrea Letsch (TUI) on the topic of “Do’s and Don’ts in customer contact” provided us with valuable suggestions on how we can further optimize our communication with our customers.
Our conclusion
The Staffing & Recruiting Theme Days were a valuable opportunity for us to expand our specialist knowledge, learn about new
trends and develop practical solutions for our day-to-day work in temporary employment and recruitment. We were particularly impressed by the professional organization by the GVP and the top-class selection of speakers.
We look forward to incorporating the knowledge gained into our day-to-day work at ERZA GmbH and continuing to support our customers and candidates with innovative solutions and excellent service.
